Fashion Through the Decades

    Hey bolt babez!! Today we will be covering Bolt clothes that were inspired by three previous decades! With a modern twist to all our clothes, we order an array of different styles from different decades to keep things interesting and stylish. We  have always loved how trends come and go, but then reappear in a fresh new way 20 or 30 years later! Nothing is new under the sun!

The 60's:

    Lets kick this thing off with the 60’s, who doesn’t wish they were a young woman in the 60’s! Ice cream on the beach, gorgeous cars, polka dots, flowy or tight printed skirts and the free expression of femininity. Pleated skirts and raised hemlines were also very popular in the 60’s, as well as higher necklines for those classier occasions! At Bolt we have some adorable items that remind us of the 60’s but with a 21st century vibe ☺. 

The 70's:

    Now onto the disco decade, the 70’s was Woodstock, hippy life, and a major time for self-expression. In this era we get boho fringe, bell bottom jeans, groovy patterns, and big hair! We have so many cute 70’s inspired clothing here at Bolt, and let’s just say that 70’s trends are coming in HOT this fall. Year 2000:

    And finally, the last decade we will be covering is Y2K! Everybody loves the feeling of the early 2000’s, whether it's pop culture, lip smackers, graphic tees, butterflies, hair accessories or all things glamorous! This is the decade most of us have the fondest memories from, and getting to restyle our favorite childhood looks into more glam fits is nothing short of a blast!

    You can find so many different clothing styles, accessories, and shoes to ensure you have the best fit that you feel confident in. There are really no rules when it comes to fashion, you can mix and match different decades to create your own unique style. So the question is… What is your favorite fashion decade?
